Features Explained

The Approval Process.

The ability of Time Tracker to allow multiple approvers to sign a  timesheet is a key feature. The application is clever enough to know that if an approver is a signatory on more than one project they don’t need to sign it twice. It ensures that all approvers at a certain level get to sign the timesheet before it goes to approvers at the next level. The images below explain the process in a bit more detail….

In this example we see the approval process for Project A. This would be set-up by us based on your requirements. A User would simply enter time against the project selecting any activities that had been pre-defined or just entering some text

Once the user had entered their details about Project A they would create another record for Project B

As you can see Project B has a different Client Project Manager so she will need to receive the timesheet too.

The user will submit both of their entries and Time Tracker will create the document and send it for signing.

The combined approval cycle has the timesheet going to both Project Managers before it finally gets to the Commercial Manager.

This has several benefits as it allows each Project Manager to see the time and activities that they are signing off and it allows the Commercial Manager to see that the combined amount of time does not exceed the permitted hours or days.

At the end of the signing process every approver will receive an email with the document attached that has every approver’s signature on it.
